The second annual Smoke-n-Suds Cyclocross Race Weekend presented by De Pijp Cyclocross Federation November 2 and 3, 2013, we will again present this race at Lake Fayetteville Northshore. A great venue just north of Fayetteville, AR. The course plans are beginning so expect fast grass, barriers, steep grades and of course the DITCH.
Races kick off Saturday at 1:00 pm with Women 1/2/3, MASTERS, and Men’s cat 4 breaking in the grass and tear through the woods for a full 45 minutes. 2:00 PM, we will send out Men’s cat 5, Women’s cat 4 and JRs 10-18 to blast around the corners for 35 minutes. Last but not least, the OPEN category starts throwing down at 3:15pm for 55 minutes of pain and agony. All races are $20 USD, medals for the top3 in all races except OPEN, we’ll toss them cash for the top3 contenders.
Sunday’s racing will start at 10:00AM with Women 1/2/3, MASTERS, and Men’s cat 4 once again for 45 minutes. At 11:15 am, the Men’s cat 5, Women’s cat 4 and JRs 10-18 will have a turn on the course to show their suffer face for 35 minutes. 12:30 pm, the last of race of the weekend, the OPEN category will take on the course for 55 minutes. Again all races are $20 USD, medals for the top3 in all races except OPEN, we’ll toss them cash for the top3 contenders.

Race day registration opens 2 hours prior to the first race start time, no online race registration available.Cash payouts will be an 80% of the entry fees taken from the classes that are receiving cash payouts. Racing age is the age a racer will be on December 31. Masters category racers must race appropriate age categories, no racing “down”. 1-day USAC licenses will be available for purchase on race days. License types: 1day licenses maybe purchased online through USAcycling registration system or onsite at any USAcycling sanctioned event and are valid for a single day of racing. 1 day licenses may only be used for races open to the lowest category of racer for this discipline (i.e.: men cat5, women cat4). Yearly licenses will be available for purchase at this event. Arkansas super prestige rules apply for both events. This is a USAcycling sanctioned event.
